A trust company should be transparent about its own tracking. This page lists every cookie we set, what it does, and how to turn it off. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or fingerprinting anywhere.
When a website displays the Trust Badge, the badge script sets the following first-party cookies on that website. They contain no personal data and no identifiers of any kind; each is simply the value "1" used to avoid counting the same visitor twice in one day.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Personal data |
|---|---|---|---|
| to_mini | Counts one unique open of the badge mini panel per visitor per day | 24 hours | None (value is "1") |
| to_full | Counts one unique open of the full verification report per visitor per day | 24 hours | None (value is "1") |
Website owners can disable these cookies entirely from their TrustedOrigin dashboard (Domain report, Privacy settings). When disabled, the badge sets no cookies and records no engagement events. Clicks on individual report sections are counted without any cookie and without identifying the visitor.
Our own website and customer dashboard use the following cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Keeps you logged in to the customer dashboard during a session | Essential, session |
| autologin | Remembers your dashboard login between visits | Essential, persistent |
| _ga and related | Google Analytics: anonymous usage statistics for our own site | Analytics |
| mf_* | Mouseflow: anonymised session recordings that help us improve the site | Analytics |
