Install the badge on any website

If you can edit your website's HTML, you can install the badge. This guide covers plain HTML sites and any platform not listed in our other guides.

Your personal badge code is in your dashboard under Domains, Get code.

Copy your badge code

Log in to your dashboard, go to Domains, click "Get code" next to your domain, and copy the snippet.

Open your template or page file

Open the HTML file (or shared template/layout file) that renders your pages. If your site has a shared footer include, that is the ideal place, so the badge appears on every page.

Paste before the closing body tag

Paste the badge code on its own lines immediately before the closing body tag, then save and upload the file to your server.

Check your site

Reload your website. The Trust Badge should appear near the bottom of the page within a second of the page loading.

Badge not showing?

  • If your site uses a caching system or CDN, purge the cache after adding the code.
  • Make sure the code sits before the closing body tag and was not altered by an editor.
  • Confirm your subscription is active for this domain in your dashboard.
